![]() ![]() Some of the cupboard space you wonder why there's a door at all because it's just a waste of space. The doors were not automatic opening which might explain the broken glass. I couldn't do it without someone else and would have to walk despite pain if by myself. When we finally checked in, bearing in mind time was at a premium, trying to get out the doors to the rooms was tricky. The counters were up high and there was no way of not looking up at the staff / being looked down on. I was in a mobility scooter and I felt invisible to staff. The staff's awareness of what was happening outside of their computer screen was nil. The reception service was incredibly slow, it took forever to get served and the staff did not maintain any kind of queue on who to speak to next, so people kept jumping. I chose this place because it was listed as 3 star and cheaper than the 2 star Disney hotel. We arrived through the door to be in quite a dark open room, the glass on the doors out to the room was broken and everything just looked dark and run down. So brightly coloured and interesting with plenty of sunlight and friendly faces. I recently went to Disneyland Paris and as part of the Disney hotel and tickets, I booked to stay at Adagio as the website looks amazing. Local public transport bus 2 or 22 is available from bus stop a short walk away meaning the journey to Disneyland From here Disneyland is one stop away on the RER costing $1.90 and $5 into Paris City. In fact it was a 10 mins bus ride to Valley De Europe Train Station and shopping center.Cost of this is 2$ each. However this needs to be confirmed that this is likley if you have your own car. Location: Hotel is advertised as 10 mins from Disney. Beans and Sausages with scrambled egg along with hot and cold drinks. Breakfast: This was available from 7-10 and had a reasonable selection of pastries and continental choices. It did mean that you.could bring your own food / drink into the bar /restaurant area but again felt a little strange doing this. Again a strange situation for a best western. ![]() Food: On arrival we were advised there was no restaurant operating in the hotel so they had teamed with local restaurants in area for delivery. No fault of the staff as they were apologetic and did all they could however not what you would expect from a BW branded hotel. This wasn't a huge issue as where possible ice was given with drinks however the process of popping to the bar for a drink became a task. During our stay there were issues with chillers meaning no cold beer was on hand or chilled drinks. ![]() So required running between bar and reception to please everyone. Unsure if there were staffing issues during our stay but the bar and reception was run by one staff member. Bar: Not everyone using hotels will use a bar however we as a family like to wind down our day over a drink or two and a game of cards etc however here we found this simple task harder than needed. Rooms decor was a little quaint as decor across whole hotel is bird themed so deffo something a little different. These however may have been available had we asked. Secondly air con wasn't working in any of our rooms. So taking advantage of an empty top bunk we unpacked what we could and lived out of a case. However when unpacking it was quickly identified that 6 coat hangers and one shelf was never going to be enough storage for 3 bearing in mind the room can sleep 4. Bathroom has a decent size walk in shower and enough towels as you would expect. We had a bunk bed along with queen size bed in room. Rooms: At first glance rooms are spacious enough size wize. We found all three rooms to be very clean and tidy for our arrival which was welcoming after a long travel day. As a group of us we were given 3 rooms all next door or across the hall which was a nice touch. First of all we arrived later in the evening but check in was completed quickly and communication was fine as all staff we met spoke good English. Having spent 5 nights here recently we wish to post our findings our stay. ![]()
